Greetings, and welcome to Elftown's official 'Design the Guard Uniform' Contest!


How to post your entry:
Add your image after the last one that has been already posted. Don't forget to write its title and your user name. For example:

1. "Title" - [insert user name]


Rules:


1. NO STEALING ART! Images must be created by Elftowners and posted here by the original artist. Which means, no matter how much you might like a particular image on somebody's house, you are not allowed to add it here. This includes random images from the net too. MAKE YOUR OWN DARN IMAGES, DON'T STEAL THEM AND TRY TO CLAIM THEM AS YOUR OWN! That makes us angry, very angry indeed.
Please put forth your best effort and the best quality, i.e. no drawings on lined notebook paper. Any such entry will be removed. Also, scan your images if at all possible.
Last but not least, it can happen an artwork has the same title as another one; this is not against the rules as long as the artists' names are clear.


2. EACH MEMBER MAY SUBMIT TWO (2) ENTRIES.


3. ALL IMAGES MUST BE UPLOADED TO ELFTOWN! Ask [Sunrose] or [Charybdis] for wiki-privs if you don't have them already; members who follow the uploading art rules, and thus are not troublemakers, will be granted these privs. See advanced help for more information about privs.


4. SUBJECT MATTER: Since the winners will be featured on Mainstreet, images that depict graphic violence, pornography or other disturbing actions will not be accepted. Only images that fit the theme will be allowed.

All mediums, except photography (and/or manipulations) and animated GIF's, will be accepted.


What will we be expecting? Creativity!
The theme is: How should a Guard uniform look?

What is a Guard?
Guards are those members of Elftown who maintain Elftown's order, making sure its members follow the Elftown - Rules and solve conflicts between the members.

Images not following the theme will be removed.


Deadline: 31st of May

We will be picking two (2) images as the winners.


Note:
Ten images will be picked out by the Council and the Assembly among all those presented and a Mainstreet poll will tell the winner. Participants will receive a squirrel badge, and winners will receive a coloured version of the same (or a green/coloured Masters of Building if they are commited art donors).

2006-04-27 [Sunrose]: The contest is about the Guards uniform yes, but as I said earlier it is nice if it is worn by a model (preferably not an existing Elftown Guard). //more thAn one\\ No, you can not have placeholders, they don't serve any purpose really. You can make your entry as you like as long as there is a Guards uniform design :P /// Sunny is my nickname ^_^ don't get it confused with [Sunny Silverunicorn] though because she has the same nickname :p
